Dungeons

Dungeons are areas with an objective. Most of them contain a BBEG with a special loot note item. Each Player in a group that successfully completes the dungeon who has not yet claimed the note can turn that note in for customized thematic loot!

The Necromancers Apprentice

Rumors of emaciated zombies being raised under the slums for nefarious purposes are spreading through the city. Just ask One Armed John. While whoever is raising them and for what purpose remains a mystery, the fact that more keep showing up is a well-established fact. Perhaps if one were to delve deep enough one could find out?

The Shambling Mound

Trouble with a clog is leave it unattended for too long and its bound to get up and walk away. Thankfully Osco managed to trap it in the in take chamber but if it grows much larger its going to cut off the inflow to the whole system! Needless to say the Dukes have authorize Osco to pay out a lump sum to any daring enough to remove it!

The Large Ochre

Mort has been asking everyone that passes if they have any of thick ochre jelly. He’s apparently willing to trade a variety of potions in order to acquire some and looks rather desperate, saying something about having to regrow a thumb again and how long it took last time. He will gladly relay to any willing to listen just where the largest of Ochre tend to grow in the far corner of the overflow basin underfoot.

The Sugar Queen

Sugar will invariably draw ants and no matter what Vicharry tries, it seems like nothing will keep them out of his stock. Talk around the tavern has it that he will reward any that can kill their Queen and bring back proof with a lifetime daily supply of potion infused cupcakes. The Baldur’s Mouth gives their restorative properties a 5 out of 5 Gates.

The Weaver

Hinfolk and children keep disappearing around a mysterious webbed grate in Eastway. The Fist say their only paid to keep order above the streets and that anything that happens below is out of their hands. When all else fails perhaps a local band will find the courage to take matters into their own hands and investigate.

The Shrine of Suffering Carrion Crawler

Brother Hodges has his hands full trying to care for the cities forgotten. Between running the soup kitchen, his advocacy for the poor with the upper class, and seeing to the last rights of those that cannot afford any other means of interment, he hasn’t been able to find time to clear the infestation of carrion crawlers that has taken hold in the crypts. Perhaps he would accept some help? Perhaps he could even scrounge up some small Ilmateri trinkets as a token of his gratitude? But he warns that an abnormally large Crawler has been spotted in the lower bowels of the Crypts.

The Wizards Apprentice

One of these days Buppi is going to get that spell right. Until then she would be more than willing to hire some one to get her masters house back in order before he gets home. Just watch out for the tables and chests they might rearrange you this time around.

The Quartermaster

Logistics are key, and every organization needs a quartermaster to keep track of and disseminate inventory. The Zhent’s are no exception but just what sort of goods are they moving under the city?

The Doppelganger

Did that person look familiar to you? I could swear I’ve seen that face before. Or perhaps you never see a persons true face until the drop the facade. Any which way rumors have started to spread amongst those in the know that not all in The Gate are what they seem.

The Viper

Every enforcer is a coiled snake underneath venomous and ready to strike at a moments notice. The Viper has been stalking the merchants of Eastway for some time. Collecting protection gold in order to fund their operations under the Basilisk Gate, but just what are those operations and how do they forward the Zhent’s agenda?

The Kobold Sorcerer

Kobolds have taken hold under the upper city and are waging war against the High House of Wonders. The High House of Wonders can’t seem to figure out why but are offering a reward for an item that was stolen. They seem quite sure you cant miss it just look for a glowing orb sparking with electricity. It was last seen in the hands of a group of kobold sorcerers heading into the sewers under the upper city.

The Drow Wizard

Zhents teaming up with Drow and meeting to exchange a pay off for an unknown service? There is no way this is a good combination.

The Kobold Scout

The High House of Wonder is still paying for kobold fangs, and that sorcerer seemed to have some interesting items. Perhaps clearing out a few of the other strong holds might be worth while, and who knows maybe the scout will have one of those weird rune stones like the sorcerer had.

The Kobold Commando

This is becoming a trend. The Scout had a stone as well and the stones are are starting to show up in dreams. This whole things is odd but maybe going after the kobold commando will help open that pesky door.

The Troll Caves

Everyone knows that Trolls eat everything that can get their hands on and ravenously. Everyone also knows that most that go into the Trollclaws do not come back out. Stands to reason that in the piles of gnawed and picked clean bones lie many formerly owned weapons, armors, and treasures. If only a group were daring enough to clear the trolls that dont know what they have and reclaim those items.

The Skull Lord

An alien presence has taken hold in the mid cloakwood. Stories of a three headed skull lord have been circulating, but why is it here and what does it want?

Rat Child

The door stands before you just like in the dreams. The three rune stones each fit into the slots with meticulous precision. As the door clicks and grinds open you feel a rush of excitement with just a small tinge of dread.
