The Cloakwood

The Cloakwood Mines

The mines of Cloak Wood flooded in the Year of the Blue Dragon, 1243 DR, tragically killing many of the dwarves that dwelled within. They were later taken over by the mercantile consortium of the Iron Throne and continued mining operations until they were flooded again in the Year of the Banner, 1368 DR. Currently one of the last remaining dwarves of Clan Orothiar is recruiting adventurers in an attempt to clear them and reclaim them for the clan.

Near Cloakwood

For some reason the weakest of the Tasloi are being pushed farther and farther away from the Deep Cloakwood. As a result numerous camps of gangling Tasloi are popping up closer and closer to the edge of the wood. The Dukes have responded by issuing a bounty on any and all Tasloi ears.

Mid Cloakwood

The Mid Cloakwood is becoming more and more densely populated. Among the crowded trees more and more skilled Tasloi are making larger and larger camps. There are even rumors of Hobgoblin camps being constructed nearer to the deep wood.

Reports of adventures who have braved them encourage others to make sure to stock up on elemental resistance potions as once one steps through it may take some time to find the exit portal.

The strongest of the Tasloi congregate closer to the center of the forest hoping to be recruited into the larger Hobgoblin Camps. Remember to break down their tents you might just find Goblin Horde map pieces in the remnants!
